The Cleft Palate Foundation has been funding research into the causes and treatments of cleft and craniofacial birth defects since 1989. We are currently supported in this effort by grants from the following organizations:

To date we have awarded over $325,000 in research funding. Our grants range from $5,000 to $10,000 each in four categories. Many researchers have found that our grants provide the perfect “seed money” for starting a project that will later attract other larger grants.
