Fundraising Ideas
If you’re searching for ways to raise money for CPF, take a look through these ideas. Have ideas you’d like to share? Email CPF!
Birthday Parties
Many families and individuals ask that people send donations to the Cleft Palate Foundation in honor of the birthday person. We’re happy to help by sending donor cards, stationery, and/or fundraising letters, and we love thanking your guests for their honorary gifts.
The Gould Family is just one example of this – in March 2009, family and friends celebrated Charlotte’s first birthday and included CPF! Check out their birthday story for more ideas.
Social Events
Looking for a way to have fun with friends and family while supporting CPF? Plan a house party, concert or other get together (like David Pearson’s Moustache March!) and ask for contributions. Let us know what you’re planning and we can send supplies for you to use to educate your guests about cleft lip and palate and the work of the Cleft Palate Foundation.
As a fun summer event, the Ingham Family put together a lemonade stand for the Fourth of July. Check out their story!
Weddings and Gift Registries
Giving a gift to the Cleft Palate Foundation in honor of your wedding is a special and unique way to thank guests. We’ll send cards to set out on tables or a letter to frame and display. Couples often find that this is a great thing to do as a wedding favor.
Setting up a registry? Listing the Cleft Palate Foundation’s online giving site as a gift your guests can give is a meaningful addition to your special day. Let friends and family honor you by giving a gift that helps the individuals and families who call the Cleftline for support.
If you have questions or need supplies for your fundraising efforts, please email or call (800.24.CLEFT) the Cleft Palate Foundation.
