Molly J. Foote, M.Ed., NCC(National Certified Counselor) is a school counselor and award-winning educational product developer. She has received international recognition for her work with youth and her creation of Branch Out!®, a hands-on, interactive, educational game and curriculum being used to empower people of all ages to discover strengths, create connections, foster growth, and honor diversity. Branch Out!®received the prestigious Teachers’ Choice Award fromLearning Magazine in 2005. Since first introduced in 1994, the widely acclaimed Teachers’ Choice Award has heralded the very best in classroom-tested, teacher-recommended products.
Molly has over fifteen years of experience counseling youth, families, and adults in a variety of settings. The driving force behind her work has been to help people recognize their value. She has had particular success helping students and parents recognize and utilize their personal strengths to achieve goals and overcome obstacles. Molly’s numerous professional presentations and trainings have been described as: dynamic, inspiring, innovative, motivational, interactive, and “out of the box.”
Molly is the founder of Cultivating Connections and Eppard Vision. Cultivating Connections is a nationally recognized, heart-driven business that specializes in developing fun, hands-on, interactive activities to assist educators in creating safe and effective learning environments for their students. Eppard Vision is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening community and improving the lives of children by expanding global awareness, encouraging appreciation of diversity, and promoting social responsibility.
Her most recent work has been on the manuscript, The Magic of Grandma’s Lap, which was inspired by friends and family who helped her to discover her “magic” and by the many wonderful children she has worked with in discovering their unique value.
Currently residing in Bellingham, Washington, Molly enjoys digital storytelling, writing, drawing, hiking, and playing with her family, including canine companion, Olive.
