Peyton turns one!
We were thrilled to recieve a box of photos, stories, donations and other goodies from Peyton’s first birthday party! What a wonderful way to celebrate.
Thanks to the Hall Family for supporting CPF in such a fun way!
Happy Birthday, Peyton!
Here’s a note from Peyton’s mom, Jessica:
Peyton Marie Hall was born January 26, 2010 with beautiful blond hair, piercing blue eyes, and a cleft of the soft palate. Within 24 hours, we had received and read all the information from CPF and met members of our Cleft Palate Team to discuss treatment options. Peyton even got her first cleft bear!CPF gave us access to everything we needed.
Peyton’s Princess Party!
November 2010 Peyton had a palatoplasty which completely closed her cleft! For her first birthday, we decided to give back to a foundation who had given so much to us. We borrowed the Gould Family’s ‘Look at me: I’m turning one’ poem for our invitations. We sent out 80 invitations with donation cards. At the party, we set up a donation table. We covered the table in CPFpamphlets and brochures, Peyton’s history, and photos of her progress. We made rubber wristbands for all families who donated that said “I donated to CPF! Peyton’s 1st Birthday”. Out of the 39 families that came to the party, we got 38 donations (and many more to come in the mail from those you could not come to the party). We shared Peyton’s story with all of our friends and family. It was a wonderful day for all!
