Get out and explore the Rockies before the Annual Meeting begins! Our guided tour will pick us up from the hotel to see the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre and hike the surrounding trails. This hike will be a duration of 2 hours, with the tour of the Amphitheatre a duration of 30 minutes. Water and snacks will be provided.

Join us as Dr. Kathleen Bogart takes the stage to share her presentation, The Psychology of Facial Difference: Communication, Stigma, and Social Support. This keynote will review research on facial difference stigma and social support. Mixed methods research investigates disclosure or explaining facial differences and how different approaches relate to mental health outcomes. Advocacy efforts to boost representation of individuals with craniofacial differences in our field and in society at large will be discussed. Additionally, key practical recommendations for providers and researchers will be shared.

New for 2024! The Annual Meeting’s final night will host a Closing Night Celebration, including food and drink, and entertainment.

The Closing Night Celebration will be held in place of the Gala Dinner of years past, and will celebrate the culmination of a successful meeting of our community. We are excited to celebrate in a new way in 2024, and made this change based on past attendee feedback. ACPA’s Awards Ceremony will still be held, with timing to be announced soon.
